Suara ALAM Conference
“Suara ALAM” (Voice of ALAM) is ALAM’s flagship multi-stakeholder biennial conference that convenes policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, youth, Indigenous communities, civil society organisations, academia and community practitioners to discuss pressing environmental and sustainability issues.
The conference serves as a strategic platform to strengthen dialogue, collaboration, and actionable commitments on climate change, biodiversity conservation, environmental governance, sustainable development and community resilience.
Suara ALAM continues to position ALAM as a trusted convener of inclusive climate and sustainability discourse at national and regional levels.

ALAM Merubah Minda Time Series
ALAM Merubah Minda Time Series (MMT) is an educational and awareness initiative focused on enhancing environmental literacy and driving mindset transformation through meaningful conversations, knowledge-sharing and public engagement.
The series features renowned speakers, policymakers, researchers, industry experts, youth leaders and sustainability practitioners discussing topics such as climate change, biodiversity conservation, environmental governance, ocean literacy, science diplomacy, circular economy and sustainable lifestyles.
Conducted through forums, workshops, conferences, webinars, podcasts, outdoor engagements and strategic collaborations, the initiative reaches diverse audiences across government agencies, corporations, universities, youth groups and local communities.

ALAM IG Challenge
ALAM IG Challenge is a social media awareness initiative designed to promote environmental sustainability and encourage public participation through creative digital engagement.
Organised in conjunction with various global ESG-related observance days, the initiative features photography and short video contests, interactive campaigns and sustainability-themed digital content aimed at inspiring environmental awareness and positive action among youth and the public.
Through infographics, short videos, posters and storytelling content shared across social media platforms, ALAM IG Challenge continues to foster a culture of sustainability, creativity and environmental advocacy within the digital space.

Global Indigenous Youth Summit on Climate Change (GIYSCC)
Global Indigenous Youth Summit on Climate Change (GIYSCC) is an international, youth-led online thematic summit that serves as a virtual dialogue by, for and among Indigenous youth. It brings together global participants to discuss climate change impacts, Indigenous knowledge systems and community-driven climate solutions, conducted consecutively over 24 hours across three different time zones.
ALAM serves as a co-lead and pioneering global partner alongside international organisations including the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), International Network for Government Science Advice (INGSA), Future Earth, UCSI University, and the Science Diplomacy Center to support Indigenous youth engagement and global climate dialogue.
Established in 2023 and now entering its fourth annual global series, the summit provides a unique international platform for Indigenous youth to share traditional knowledge, lived experiences, local challenges, and climate action perspectives, while fostering collaboration, inclusivity, and stronger Indigenous youth representation in global sustainability discourse.

Collaboration with Key Ministries
ALAM actively collaborates with key ministries and government agencies to advance Malaysia’s sustainability agenda through environmental education, climate action, youth empowerment, policy engagement, and multi-stakeholder partnerships. Since 2023, ALAM has also supported national “Road to COP (Conference of the Parties under the UNFCCC)” initiatives, contributing to Malaysia’s preparation, engagement, and participation in global climate platforms.
These collaborations support national priorities under the Twelfth Malaysia Plan (RMK-12), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Malaysia’s climate and sustainability commitments at both national and international levels.
Among the key ministries and agencies collaborated with are the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES), Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), Ministry of Education (MOE), Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR) and other strategic government stakeholders.
Through these partnerships, ALAM has contributed to sustainability forums, environmental education programmes, youth leadership development, climate governance discussions, policy advocacy, capacity-building workshops and Malaysia’s participation in international platforms such as UNFCCC COP.
These collaborations continue to strengthen cross-sector engagement, knowledge-sharing, and collective action towards building a more sustainable, resilient and environmentally conscious Malaysia.

CARE 4 ALAM (Culture, AwaReness, and Education)
CARE 4 ALAM is ALAM’s public awareness and digital storytelling initiative focused on promoting environmental consciousness, civic responsibility and sustainable action through accessible media and public engagement campaigns.
Implemented in collaboration with Wiki Impact, the initiative highlights grassroots environmental programmes, youth-led solutions, and community-driven actions addressing the triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. Through feature stories, social media campaigns, short videos, and digital advocacy content, CARE 4 ALAM promotes environmental education, public participation and a culture of accountability and environmental stewardship.
