๐๏ธ World Migratory Bird Day ๐โจ
Did you know?
๐ฆ Migratory birds travel thousands of kilometres across countries and continents every year in search of food, breeding grounds, and warmer climates.
๐ฟ Malaysia plays an important role as a stopover site for many migratory bird species along the East AsianโAustralasian Flyway.
โ ๏ธ However, habitat loss, climate change, pollution, and illegal hunting continue to threaten migratory bird populations worldwide.
Wetlands, mangroves, forests, and coastal ecosystems provide essential resting and feeding grounds for these incredible travellers. Protecting these habitats not only supports biodiversity but also strengthens ecosystem health for communities and future generations. ๐
This World Migratory Bird Day, letโs work together to conserve nature and create safer skies and habitats for migratory birds around the world. ๐ฑ๐๏ธ
